Though like the old biddy I apparently am, I have no fucking idea how this thing works. How do I find everyone? And there's so much pink.

Hello. You seem to have managed to find a few people at least!

Go to 'Home'. Type a username into the search box and select 'site/journal' (or whatever the option closest to that is - can't recall exactly) in the next box, hit search. A lot of people have managed to nab the same username as they had on LJ, which makes things easier; otherwise it's a case of going through your LJ reading list and seeing who's posted about who they are on DW.

There are custom style options for removing the pink, although don't ask me how they work!

That method of finding friends is basically what I ended up doing. I was a bit flummoxed by DW importing my LJ friends list, but all the links are actually to LJ (which makes sense, how could it know who they are on DW?) so had to do the manual find as you said.

I've found a custom style for removing pink on my journal and reading page, but not other pages like settings etc (oh the actual posting page! That was the bugger). I'm sure I'll cope, and/or get up enough interest/time to make the effort to change it when it annoys me enough.

I haven't managed to find people yet but I did find a setting option somewhere for getting rid of the red and making it purple (doesn't look pink on my Phone).
